10 miles, 1 hour in bumper to bumper traffic and it was WORTH IT. Las Delicias is MUY DELICIOUS!
Sat down right away and we were given Menus + chips within a minute.
I took the recommendation of another Yelper and ordered the ' Quesadillas ala Merced ' and WOW I have never tasted anything so good. Chicken was juicy and tasteful while the corn tortilla completed the plate.
Boyfriend ordered the Chicken Burrito Plate + Gorditas and both were flawless--- phenomenal.
All around service today + food should deserve more than 5 stars!
I feel so bad this restaurant has low reviews,
Remember--- we all have our good and bad days! Don't let one experience tell the tale!
Thank you Las Delicias for a yummy, authentic meal!
I will be back! -

Came in on a cold night and ordered cocido (beef soup). Fed my cravings in the perfect way. Fellow Filipinos, it's like nilaga with a side of diced union, cilantro and a lime wedge yummm!!! Beef with a corn on the cob and large slices of carrot, broccoli stalk, and even upo! Bomb.
The rest of everything we ordered (chicken enchiladas, carne asada burrito, pibil (pork), rice & beans, tasted like it was cooked with care and love in this warm, cozy, homely restaurant that feels like you're in your tia/tita's living room in the Eastside. -

I came here to try a Pambazo after learning about them on YouTube. They're okay, but I'll try something I know I like next time, maybe the Huitlacoche quesadilla (Quesadilla a la Merced). CASH ONLY. I think there was an ATM in there but I'm not sure.

4.5 stars. I wanted to give them 5 but the panucho wasn't make the righ way. The cochinita pibil in the panucho was really good. But instead of putting the black beans inside the tortilla they gave us 2 soft tortillas with pinto beans in the middle with lettuce and fresh cheese. The traditional panucho comes with cured red onions and habanero sauce. The pambazo was very good. Clean please with good service. I'm definitely coming back when I'm that area.
Good vibes from another chilango -

They have the best quesadillas called "quesadillas a la Merced"! But they are a bit pricey. They're about $10/each. It hurts my pocket book a lot, so we maybe go there only once a month or less.
